She explores the Haute Provence in this perspective : landscapes of « black sun » where this warm and colorful earth shows its other aspects, silent solitude, land hard to work, fighting against bad winds, where the farms and bushes seem forced to resist while hiding deep into the vales and cracks and crevices.
All villages empty of all human presence live under the power of this rough nature
