In Passage de Lorette à Marseille

A passage between the Avenue de la République and the Panier district. In the 13th century a hospital, St. Jacques de l’Epée, was built to aid local crusaders about to embark for the Holy Land. In 16th century it became a convent for the Servants of Mary called Notre Dame de Lorette. In 1775 the convent was closed then sold and demolished in 1784.

Photographs are printed on Fine Art paper which offers excellent sharpness and finish. We use high quality pigment inks guaranteeing long life (around 100 years and up to 200 years when protected from light and pollution).

To ensure a perfect finish and depth, photos are sold with a white, neutral pH, bevel-edged slip-in mount, 40 x 50 cms. in size, and a cardboard backing.
